It's time to put the fry on!
You can easily use two slices of potato to make this burger. You may cut out extra slices of potato or just slice it into squares. Do whatever you want to do with it then spread it over your buns and place it in the center of each bun. Then top it all with shredded cheese and serve it right in that order. No matter what your choice, this recipe is going to taste delicious! Here is a picture of my first bite of a potato chip fries burger. I thought of adding some cheese because I love cheesy food but I used too much, it might not be enough and it might have gone soggy inside.
How to Make Potato Chips Fries Sandwich
Ingredients:
1/2 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground pork
Pinch salt as needed
2 cups onions (use less if you like)
1 large red bell pepper
1 cup carrots (or more, or don't use carrots at all)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Heat an un-stick skillet by sauting both sides with onion, peppers, and carrots until soft. Pour 1/2 cup diced carrots into the pan and add another 1/2 cup chopped onions. Cook a little while until vegetables begin to caramelize. Add ground sausage. Mix the two and continue to cook until heated and crispy. Arrange in the middle of the cheesecloth lined pan with cheesecloth and toast for about 10 minutes. Repeat until done! If you're using garlic powder, heat the cheesecloth, dip saucepan in melted garlic and drop bread or rolls in the mixture and toast for 2-3 minutes. Now return to the cheesecloth and spread potatoes and onions. Top with cheese slices. Place in fridge until ready when you need them.
