This zinger burger recipe was developed by myself, as well as for my family. My wife loves burgers and she wants some too. She also likes cooking them - in a skillet! I did not like it too much at first and thought they were odd but she just kept trying and working on them...
I came across this online recipe - which is very easy! All you need is two ingredients and an oven. But it will be different because it is a little bit difficult. So let's start with the ingredients.
Some of our favorite raw meat burgers in the market are fresh sirloin steak and ham; but what do we have at home? Well, all you need is a few ingredients and a few minutes. In the next minutes in this recipe, you are going to make your own zinger burger recipe. If you want to change its ingredients then please do so. It is a nice touch! I love it!
Makes 12 big ones - one for each person you have (or one per family member)
Note: I do add vegetables but not carrots or garlic. Other things such as cheese, mayo, ketchup, onion, bbq sauce, mustard, ground pepper and breadcrumbs you need. Also some of those ingredients are from the above recipe so don't forget about them. You can use whatever that goes in it.
Zinger burger recipe for my family
Ingredients needed.
Salt
White flour
Ground black pepper
Ketchup
Fresh onions - chopped
A few slices of tomato
Fresh shredded lettuce
Garlic
Wholemeal
Flour
Saltine
Spirulina
Fresh herbs (You can use any herb and add basil or cilantro if you like - just keep it small).
Now that you did just need a few ingredients it is time to get creative. We have used 2 different kinds of mozzarella to have a more authentic flavor.
First thing - chop onions - it is always good!
Next, grate mozzarella cubes - it will help to increase their size.
Next, cut a slice of cheddar cheese. We use it too many times as it makes the zinger burger taste good.
After that, mix everything and form in a bowl. Don't add too much water - you can play around with it. Add bread crumbs, some mozzarella and onion - you are ready for a zinger burger!
Baked Zinger Burger
To make the dough, I used baking soda and baking powder, a pinch of salt, half cup of sugar and olive oil. This is enough to have a good crunchy texture. Then divide it in a bowl and fold it in half. After that, it is time to press it to make a flat circle.
Now put another big spoonful of milk in the middle of the dough - now fold it and add cheese.
Bake it in preheated 350 degrees Celsius air-conditioning. Take out the pan when it cooled, or the whole one. Cover is one side and press the other one - it is cooked. Now when you take it out then you will see a beautiful golden light brown color on both sides of the zinger burger. Let cool completely before serving.
